Summary: The final chapter to Muv Luv Alternative, also known as Final Extra. The main section of the game, or the “adventure game” as they chose to call it, is named かがやく時空が消えぬ間に, or roughly transliterated, when the shining timespace fades. It continues from where Muv Luv Alternative left off, the original universe of Shirogane Takeru was fixed with Yuuhi and Kasumi joining his school. One interesting note that caught my attention was the part where the group heads off to a southern island for holiday. There is a very high possibily that it is the exact same island that Takeru and co used in the Alternative universe for their Joint Battle Technique Assessment Practice or 総合戦闘技術評価演習.
The second feature of the game is a hex-grid SLG named 暁遙かなり, or the faraway dawn. You control a bunch of senjutsuki (戦術機), kick the BETA’s ass, clear the stage, get new maps and new senjutsuki. In short, SRW styled game in the Muv Luv Alternative universe. Freaking. Awesome. The third part comprises of the spinoff visual novel Total Eclipse, which is still being serialized on Tech Gian. And we also get some net radio recording, promotion video and wallpapers. All in 2 DVDs. At any rate, I am looking forward to it. VERY enthusiastically.
