Hey, a small question, I've been playing on the PTR, but I have absolutely none of my addons. I was wondering if there's a way to install addons onto the PTR client, and if so, I'd like to know how, exactly. I don't want to go in and try installing something only to screw up the files and have to. When you download the client to install the PTR, you're basically downloading the ENTIRE WoW client all over again along with the new patch. My PTR folder is 15.5GB and that's the same size as my regular WoW folder.

Well, I don't see an install PTR. Only beta and the current.
The Beta install is PTR.
Currently there is a WoD PTR to test Legion *pre patch* content, but the testing for Legion itself is being done solely in the Beta at this time.
i pretty much just download the current ptr and itll be legionNo. If you download the current PTR it will still be Warlords of Draenor with the pre-expansion patch for Legion. You won't be able to access any Legion content, only the system changes that are being implemented before the release.

I believe one of our Community Mangers mentioned that they were looking into changing the title so be a little less confusing but I don't know when that will happen.

You have to be invited to the Beta. Did you get an invite? When you click the drop-down menu above the PLAY button on your launcher, what does it show?
If you are not already in the Beta, be sure that you are opted in via the setting in Account Management.

This thread is discussing the PTR (Public Test Realm), which is currently testing the pre-expansion patch. Technically, that is still Warlords of Draenor content, even though it will feature some of the upcoming changes in Legion (as a way for us to become accustomed to those changes prior to Legion's launch).

I would assume not, no. The PTR is currently the Legion pre-patch. Demon Hunters would not be available until Legion goes live. Except, of course, for the early access for pre-ordering online, and that's not been announced as to when yet.

Demon hunters are disabled on the PTR.
There's also a bug currently on the PTR where you can create one but you can't log into one as the QA team have disabled Demon Hunters from logging on the PTR.

Only accounts upgraded to Legion will be able to create Demon Hunters ( Much like DKs and Monks in the past expansions)
The PTR is NOT Legion, iit is what will be the base game come the next patch.
Beta is Legion.
The PTR is not Beta.

Right now, it is testing the PRE-PATCH for legion, not legion itself. It's still WoD.
