Step Two - Run the Feed the Beast launcher and create a profile using your Minecraft login. Then click on the mod pack called 'FTB Unleashed (v1.1.3) Minecraft Version 1.5.2' in the left column. Then click on the mod pack called 'FTB Unleashed (v1.1.3) Minecraft Version 1.5.2' in the left column. Download FTB Monster via Feed the Beast modpack for Minecraft Feed the Beast's Monster modpack is the MC 1.6.4 replacement modpack for FTB Unleashed. There's over 150 mods included in this pack with unlimited possibilities.
After a good year of playing every modpack that was popular, my small private server (mostly 4-6 friends) have fought over Tekkit Lite and Classic, Voltz, Yogcraft, FTB Unleashed, FTB Ultimate, and recently Attack of the B-Team. All the packs we try we liked but most of us really wanted/missed different things from different packs. We have all come to agree that the best of the best is FTB Unleashed 1.1.3, but we still want more.
Long story short, we want MC 1.6.4 Unleashed - It's 1.1.3 MINUS Thaumcraft 3 PLUS Thaumcraft 4 PLUS Project Red PLUS Galacticraft. We're all just pretty much clueless on how to proceed from 'what we want' to 'what we now have,' because none of us have any more experience with mods than using existing modpacks with sophisticated launchers like FTB and adding Optifine to it or something. That's as complex as we ever got.
I've posted this at some other forums and we've been told 'Oh, it's so easy, just build your own,' but when we all Google how we all come up with different sets of instructions and it's super complicated, tells us we need to understand the entirety of the java language, etc. etc. It's just a mess.
SURELY we can't be the only people that want the perfection of Unleashed 1.1.3 on MC 1.6.4 so we can have Project Red & Thaumcraft 4 along with it, no? And TBH we could skip Galacticraft but a few of us are interested in space (though IMO it's too incomplete atm despite being amazing work).

It played very similar to a type of map known as SkyBlock, where the player is started in a void world with only a small platform, and must overcome a series of challenges.
I run a FTB Unleashed server. Today when I tried to start the server it crashed. (This crashes on bootup) I get a ticking tile entity crash. My server map is around 108 GB in size and so it wouldn't be reall.

I wanna play FTB with my friend and I has downloaded the FTB Monster Modpack Server from the FTB website. Do both me and my friend need to have Forge and the Monster Modpack mods in the .minecraftmods folder to make the mods work on the server?

How To Make A Ftb Unleashed Server
You both need to be using the FTB launcher as far as I know. You might be able to use forge but I've always done it through FTB. Make sure you both have the same version client that the server is running on. If you have any difficulty connecting, try using evolve (my personal favorite) or hamachi. Port forwarding is also recommended but I prefer using it as a last resort since it can be a pain in the butt at times.
