- The Flatiron Festival series, if I remember correctly, was a series of satin finish all-solid wood mandolins, made in Montana. It should be significantly higher quality than any Epiphone mandolin.
- Can someone help me with making sense of this serial number? Its a Gibson Flatiron Master Model Performer A Built either in 2000 or 2001, I can't figure it out, in Nashville, by Gibson.
- Flatiron mandolins were still available, but the brand was eventually phased out in favor of Gibson.
