Well Cardfight Capital has been down for at least two months, and while personally, I have not used it at all, I know how heartbreaking it must have been for all of you. And so this is why I have made this PSA to tell you guys the new way to play Cardfight!! Vanguard online using a program called Cray Online.

Setting up -

First, download and install the most up to date version of Cray Online located on the official forum here. Run it, and here you have the main program. In the left column, you have all the cards you can add, and you can sort through by name. Double click or right click and press add to add cards, and double click or right click and press remove to remove cards from the deck. If you want to sort through by clan, grade, class, race, or power, press the gear icon right next to the printer icon and it'll take you to the advanced search. Once your done, save your deck, and that's it! (For any new players, you need exactly 34 normal units and 16 trigger units, otherwise the program won't allow you to use the deck!)

Now for the good part. To play online, all you need to do is acquire the opponent's IP address. This can be done using Hamachi or Evolve, or any other VPN program. Here I will try to list the appropriate programs and how to use them.

  1. Evolve - The recommended way to play. Think of it as a VPN version of steam. While it can be obtrusive, It works as intended, and is a lot easier to use than Hamachi. The fact that most of the Cray Online community plays on it is also in it's favor. Here is a guide by the creator of Cray Online on how to use Evolve.

  2. Hamachi - Sadly I do not have much experience with Hamachi, as the very few times I worked with it, it failed on me. If any of you want to help out and write a guide on how to use Hamachi, feel free too.

And that's it! Once the game screen comes up, It should be pretty self explanatory. The program isn't automated however, so it is based all on clicking (like dueling network and cockatrice). There are some keyboard shortcuts, which you can access by pressing the help tab and clicking preferences. You can also change your name here, so it doesn't always show up as n00b.

Also, this is my first guide, so if anyone is confused or need more help please tell me in the comments and I will reply as soon as possible. If you think there is anything I should expand on or fix, please tell me, and I will do so. Thank you for your time.
