Hi Giridhar,
Yes, I can install other drivers. The Fixit tool didn't work because it doesn't find the program. Asus smart gesture doesn't show in the list :/
This is how Asus smart gesture appears in Control panel:
And it isn't listed in 'Add or remove program'
When I tried to uninstall from the uninstall.bat file included in the driver download, cmd shows this:
(which means: 'ERROR: The system was unabled to find the specified registry key or value')
I think this is a registry issue.

Try this solution:
https://support2.microsoft.com/fixit/
Option 1 - Select the windows icon
Option 2 - Install or upgrade software or hardware
Option 3 - Fix problems that programs cannot be installed or uninstalled. Select the green 'Run Now' button.
Takes a while but it will walk you through the removal.
If that does not work to uninstall, you should open the Windows Registry and delete every entry related to 'SmartGesture' or 'SetupTPDriver'. Other option, is to go to '%SystemDrive%/ProgramData/SetupTPDriver/', execute setup and select remove.

I had a very similar problem with the driver. First it behaving wrong, was not providing me with the features. After I downloaded an update and wanted to install the driver it stated that there is another driver installed and that I need to remove the previous ones.
Well seems pretty simple, control panel add or remove programs and uninstall it, well then it started to behave weird, it started to say that: 'this user already exists' pretty much things that did not made any sense for me. I then ran 3rd party program to completely uninstall all the leftovers from the touchpad and clean install the new one. After the total remove I restarted my PC and my installation worked fine.
P.S. After that few days ago, for some mysterious reasons W10 decided that toshiba touchpad driver is more suitable for me, well guess what not at all, sensitivity was way off and I was not able to control it since everything was already set to minimum. So another remove and install session was held.

Martynas, I had the exact same problems! It is funny and depressing at the same time :)The ELAN driver will override the ASUS driver again if you don't remove it from Windows Update, take a look at my post to see how to remove it.

I just deleted all registry entries related to Asus smart gesture. Then I tried to install the driver running it as administrator and the same error appear:
There is no %SystemDrive%/ProgramData/SetupTPDriver/ folder in my PC.
Remember:
Asus Smart Gesture doesn't show in control panel in Uninstall/change program.
Doesn't show in Device manager.
Things I have tried so far:
- Running as administrator
- Remove all registry entries related to Asus Smart Gesture
- Running the Microsoft Fixit Tool.
- Search for the %SystemDrive%/ProgramData/SetupTPDriver/ path (doesn't exist in my PC)

It took me a while to get rid of that message. Some other things that I did:
- I couldn't remove some entries in the Registry that contain 'SetupTPDriver', and I had to modify the key, right-click-->Permissions-->Advanced-->Owner, select Administrators, Apply. Then grand FC to my user.
- After I remove entries, I used CCleaner to clean the registry.
- Restart Windows
And that is all I can tell you...
